Launchtrip Strategic Partnerships Manager’s primary role is establishing and growing a portfolio of international brands in sports, music and entertainment. Through these global strategic partnerships, Launchtrip can increase brand exposure, break into new markets, grow our user base and add extra value to products/services.

  • Development and execution of strategies for attracting and enlisting new strategic brand partnerships
  • Strategic Planning & brand activation: Work to build strategic pitch documents and work with the business logistics team on designing and implementing an effective plan to reach and sign up brands globally
  • Work with international brands on establishing win-win revenue-share and/or user acquisition opportunities
  • Work with our data team to provide research, strategic analysis and development of clear and structured recommendations for structuring and growing this department
  • Effectively leverage different skill-sets in the wider team (e.g. Creative, Talent, Market Research) to win and deliver new business
  • Develop and build “best practices” to effectively leverage conversations with brands
  • Provide clear rationale/s for how we can evolve our brand partnership offering. To which brands we can partner with and via which routes to market? 
  • Global and multi-territory pipeline development: Work on global leads and active briefs. Build compelling brand marketing packages, business models, proposals, presentations and prepare pitch teams for negotiations and project initiation.
  • Pipeline Development: Build a pipeline of potential brand partners and useful contacts and own their development through the opportunity qualification process
  • Manage a team of strategic brand partnership managers

 

Key Performance Metrics

  • Partnerships: Partnership contracts
  • Incremental user downloads generated from strategic cross marketing campaigns
  • Client Relationships: Becoming a respected and trusted partner of key brand clients driving up-selling opportunities and repeat business
  • Development of key accounts

 

Key requirements for the role are: 

  • Solid experience in a Global Marketing and/or Business Development
  • Excellent closing experience and track record
  • Strong leadership and team building skills
  • Ability to communicate complex solutions clearly and concisely
  • Ability to work to short time frames/deadlines and to work closely with the executive team
  • You will have an entrepreneurial spirit and a proactive approach
  • You will have a strong interest in and knowledge of sports, music and entertainment industries
  • You will be a team player with the ability to motivate colleagues and work with different personalities
  • Excellent business acumen, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience working with a CRM system
  • Excellent MS office skills, especially PowerPoint
  • Ability to work autonomously and with minimal direction
  • Ability to manage pressure/stress effectively
  • Desire and ability to work within an international environment

 

Desirable (Advantageous)

  • Network of brand and agency contacts
  • MBA or Strategy consulting experience a plus
